ComfortZone™ Models 1500 & Models 1000

Invest in this excellent comfort product and save money on your heating costs this winter. We have seen the cost of fuel and oil sky rocket recently and it does not look like it will go back down anytime soon. This means that the cost of heating your home will go up as will the cost of auxiliary heating units.

Take advantage of this low price for an excellent home comfort product before it too goes up along with everything else. The ComfortZone™ will pay for itself in weeks. It will put a great deal of extra money in a user’s pocket. Because of today's spiraling gas, oil, propane, and other energy costs, the ComfortZone™ will provide even greater savings as time goes by.

Make no mistake, compare this product with any other heating unit offered anywhere! Heating your home this winter doesn't have to break you. It will help in reducing those heating bills and operate on less electricity per day than a Mr. Coffee (approximately $1 per day).

FREE SHIPPING in the USA is included on all our units! MSRP on these units are $649. With our price of $479, for our wooden models, including free shipping and handling, you can save over $150, and it will arrive at your front door ready for immediate home comfort.

The U.S. Government are saying that 1/2 of all U.S. Homeowners should expect to pay 15%-28% more this winter than last and it will probably be going even higher. This is assuming that we have a moderate winter. (This is from the winter of 2004-2005)

Natural Process

The ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Heating System is an eco-smart alternative technology using nature's process as old as the earth itself. The proven benefits of this unit that exhales naturally produced healthy "SOFT HEAT" are far superior economically and in all performance and health aspects. The unique ComfortZone™ technology challenges other known heating sources that are available today. Nothing compares in performance, safety, or savings. Simply nothing!

Discover what Thousands Already Know

Many of the ComfortZoneinfrared portable units have been purchased for governmental and commercial offices as well as for residential homes for nearly 30 years. ComfortZone™ has finally been dramatically reduced in size and weight while increasing the heating efficiency by 25% with our latest breakthrough. This breakthrough has made the ComfortZone™ much more affordable and desirable for the average consumer.

The Benefits of Using this Heater

Comfortable Heat:
Keeping the heat near floor level preserves air quality and humidity, raises indoor air temperature by passing through a unit approximately at 120 degrees and it produces "SOFT HEAT" that just feels good.

Safe Heat:
No flames, fumes or deadly monoxides. Does not create a fire hazard. Safe for children and pets.

Energy Efficient Zone Heating:
Heats the area you want heated. No system heat loss. Operates on less than a Mr. Coffee per day. Effectively heats up to 1000 square feet.

Beautiful Furniture:
Real wood finished cabinet is housed on high quality casters for easy mobility. This piece will blend with and/or accent any living situation.

It's Safe! It's safe to have around children and pets with no harm of burns or fire! There are products in life that are "great products" and this is one of them. The
ComfortZone™ has superior construction with an all-natural wood veneer exterior case. Inside, only the finest materials are used - including a galvanized chassis, copper heat exchangers, quiet-long-running fans, commercial quartz infrared elements, commercial-grade thermostats and a newly re-designed permanent washable air intake filter.

The entire unit glides on full-swivel casters for easy placement or movement.

Another advantage of the ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Heating System is that it will fit effortlessly into almost any decor. It can be seen that this unit is neither old or geeky looking as is the case with so many of the traditionally-styled space heaters, nor does it have the swirls and curves of some of the "modern" heaters. It looks exactly like a piece of furniture because it is a piece of furniture. It works very well as an end table in a living room or recreation room situation.

The ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Heating System provides an elegant solution to a traditional problem - how to raise the temperature in indoor spaces without either installing plumbing or putting in a humidity-removing-drying heater that may put pollutants into the environment (kerosene heaters, etc...). It is a well-crafted solution to an age-old problem and you will greatly appreciate its abilities to safely, quietly and "softly" raise the indoor temperature without drying out the environment.

The "Soft Heat" ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Heating System essentially duplicates the way Nature heats when it warms the Earth to provide a soft convection-like heat. Essentially it works to heat the air through infrared heating elements - much like the rays of the sun providing warmth. This heated air is then directed back into the indoor environment by fans through a grill on the front of the unit. The result... even, soft heat that is normally balanced between floor and ceiling by no more than a few degrees difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Infrared Heaters - Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is a ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Infrared Heating System?

A. The ComfortZone™ quartz infrared heater is a revolutionary portable furnace that safely and efficiently heats the objects in a room using infrared waves as opposed to less efficient systems that use radiant or solar radiation.

Q. How does the initial cost and savings compare to other heaters?

A. ComfortZone™ quartz infrared heaters utilize new, more efficient technology for generating large amounts of infrared heat. Built with yesterday's quality using tomorrow's infrared and solid state electronic technology. ComfortZone™ heaters incorporate great styling, with micro-electronic genius. To invest in similar technology that would heat a comparable area could easily cost twice the initial investment without delivering the exclusive features and safe healthy benefits in this 3rd generation portable furnace. The energy savings each month will usually pay for the cost of the heater in less than a few months.

Q. How does the ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Infrared Heating System Work?

A. The ComfortZone™ combines new advanced engineering with the latest in infrared commercial quartz tubes. Both technologies were developed by Wells Electronics for the ComfortZone™ heater. The new heat exchanger incorporates a copper-ionization panel for efficient ionization of the water molecules in the air. These water molecules act as a carrier for the infrared heat that is expelled into the room. Ionized water molecules distribute the heat more evenly in the room than do the air molecules which is why you eliminate most cold air pockets in a room by using moist infrared heat. It is a warmer softer heat that penetrates the body more effectively than radiant heat. Three solar copper furnaces inside the unit absorb the heat from these tubes much like a sponge absorbs water. The patent pending process also utilizes stainless steel diffusion coils and special infrared tubes with ceramic and stainless steel tips. In independent tests the combination of stainless steel diffusion coils interacting with the copper ionization panels in the new heat exchanger produced a 14% increase in heat output / efficiency. The ComfortZone™ furnace exhales what is coined as "soft" environmentally friendly heat that employs the humidity in the room as a vehicle to warm up large spaces quickly and efficiently. Conventional heat sources that dry the air cause occupants to lose energy and force them to breathe dry uncomfortable air.

Q. Where is the ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Infrared Heating System most often used?

A. Cold uncomfortable areas in your home, finished basements, that cold back bedroom, that office down the hall, mobile homes, etc. It can also be used as an energy saving source of comfortable heat when employed as a substitute for other heat sources in the home. It’s a better cheaper way to heat your home.

Q. What makes the ComfortZone™ Heater "Healthier" than other heaters?

A. For one... the ComfortZone™ does not use up oxygen or dry out the air, nor does it produce positive ions like other blower type heaters. And the ComfortZone™ does not destroy healthy negative ions... it actually produces them. Since the early 1950s scientists have suspected that ions play an important role in how the body functions and, consequently, in how we feel. Research has shown that an abundance of negative ions in the air we breathe is highly beneficial. Conversely, scientists have found that if the air is charged with too few negative ions and too many positives, we become anxious, fatigued and tense. Positive ion poisoning has, in fact, been linked to heart attacks, aggravated asthma, migraine headaches, insomnia, rheumatism, arthritis, hay fever, and most allergies.

Two . . . the internal temperatures inside the furnace destroy harmful biological pathogens including bacteria, virus, mold and mildew without creating a combustion cycle like other fossil-fueled space heaters and radiant/solar coil type electrical heaters. These types of heaters use up oxygen and they remove humidity from the air.

Q. What makes the ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Infrared Heating System different?

A. There are three major types of heat.

The first is radiant heat. Radiant heat can be generated utilizing combustion or the burning of a fossil fuel, i.e. natural gas, wood, oil, etc. It can also be generated using electrical current to heat a coil, as in a base-board heater, or to heat different liquids such as oil in a portable radiator. Radiant heat is a very long wave form that can actually be seen radiating off the earths surface in a mirage or off the top of a wall radiator. It is a very long wave pattern.

The second is solar radiation. Solar radiation is a very short wave pattern that includes all hose wavelengths in the light spectrum that are both harmful and beneficial. Solar radiation is responsible for the burn you get by sitting too close to a fire or disc heater or by sitting out in the sun too long. Ultraviolet radiation falls into this solar radiation spectrum. Solar radiation has a very short wave pattern that cannot be detected by the human eye. Ultraviolet Radiation, for example, is a type of solar radiation and the wave pattern varies from approximately 180 nanometers to 270 nanometers.

A third form of radiation is Infrared radiation. It is the safest and most effective type of radiation to use for warming up the objects in a room including the human body. The ComfortZone™ Heating System uses safe infrared radiation to efficiently convert electrical power into therapeutic infrared heat. Infrared heat is by far the most economical type of heat for zone or area heating. Infrared waves vary from 5 to 14 microns which is much longer than solar radiation but much shorter than radiant heat waves. Infrared radiation is the perfect wave form for the most efficient heating systems. Infrared heat is also the most therapeutic type of heat which is why it is used universally for all medical applications requiring heat applications as well as the preferred heat type in most saunas. Infrared Saunas produce the same infrared wave that the ComfortZone™ heater produces.

Q. How does the comfort of ComfortZone™ furnace compare to other systems?

A. The ComfortZone™ furnace is a state of the art system that provides the most comfortable form of heat. Unlike traditional systems which may leave a differential of up to 18 degrees from floor to ceiling, the ComfortZoneinfrared furnace produces infrared heat that does not concentrate near the ceiling. Heat is evenly distributed from floor to ceiling throughout the room. The even heating and higher humidity permit lower heat settings with more comfort, less condensation on windows and less static electricity.

In actual studies, photos using infrared lighting demonstrated that the heat was almost perfectly even from floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall. The ComfortZone™ quartz infrared efficiency is based on the distribution of energized air, not on just fan movement. This heat is coined as "soft heat" due to how comfortable it is.

Q. Economically, how does the ComfortZone™ furnace compare to other systems?

A. The ComfortZone™ furnace is the most economical way to heat. The ComfortZone™ furnace uses an average of 35% less energy than conventional electric furnace/baseboard systems. Even more impressive results were found during comparisons with fuel based heating systems. Individual results of course, depend on insulation values, local climate and other conditions.

Q. How much area does a ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Infrared Heating System heat and at what cost?

A. The ComfortZone™ Heating System unit is an excellent source of primary heat for up to 1000 square feet and a superb source of secondary heat for over 1200 square feet. Price per unit varies from $397.00 to $479 US Dollars. Plus... FREE SHIPPING.

Q. Why does the ComfortZone™ quartz infrared furnace cost more than a space heater?

A. It is a furnace in every respect. It has a miniature heat exchanger, miniature infrared heating coils or tubes, a solid-state electronic control system, high and low limit switches to regulate temperature and air flow, a stylish cabinet, a sensitive solid-state thermostat with high voltage relays for turning the infrared tubes on and off and a dual DC fan system to eliminate harmful electromagnetic radiation that is produced by AC fans. It is a revolutionary “Green technology” product in every respect that produces high-quality infrared heat at a fraction of the price of conventional portable heaters. A space heater only has the capacity to heat a small space because the heat stays where it was generated. The ComfortZone™ furnace, like a central heating system, will heat an entire area evenly and efficiently because the heat spreads rapidly through the entire room. Leave the door open and the heat will spread into the adjoining room as well. Furthermore, the ComfortZone™ furnace is safe. It will not start a fire or burn you if you get too close to it. (Personal note: I like to sit in front of my unit when I come in from the cold because it warms me up fast – Bruce Searle). Because of the reduced energy consumption, and the unit's high level of safety and comfort, ComfortZone™ users agree that it is the best value available.

Q. Is the ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Infrared Heating System safe?

A. The ComfortZone™ Heating System has no flame or fumes. Its safe, clean infrared heating elements provide the energy. Extensive TUV-US testing has verified the safety of the ComfortZone™ furnace.

Q. How long has the ComfortZone™ furnace been around?

A. The ComfortZone™ furnace is new for 2008. It was developed by Wells Electronics, an ISO 9000 manufacturer who is an ohm supplier to many fortune 500 companies. Wells Electronics produced over 120,000 Quartz Infrared heaters for the US market last year. Wells Electronics wanted to introduce their innovative technology into the US market this year. Tens of thousands of Wells quartz infrared heaters are marketed and sold worldwide each year.

Q. Why doesn't the heat from the ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Infrared Heating System rise like conventional heating systems?

A. Because the infrared wave is shorter than radiant heat waves. Now combine this short wave with an ionizing heat exchanger and what you have is an infrared wave that spreads more quickly and penetrates more thoroughly giving you a more even heat distribution from floor to ceiling. The ComfortZone™ heats an area evenly, keeping heat down where you and your family live.

Q. What kind of warranty does it have?

A. The ComfortZone™ furnace has an extended 3 year factory warranty which includes the heating elements. The unit has no moving parts except the fan. The furnace has trouble free solid-state controls and diagnostic analysis of any problem can be analyzed over the telephone with our technical support team through customer service.

Q. How much power does the ComfortZone™ furnace draw?

A. The ComfortZone™ Furnace uses 1500 watts. That is less than some coffee makers!

Q. How do I order the ComfortZone™ Therapeutic Infrared Heating System?

A. You’re in the right place. Go to http://www.rethinkheat.com or email sales@rethinkheat.com with your contact information and one of our representatives will contact you.

Some Things You Should Know

Safe:
Portable heaters are a major cause of residential fires in the United States. The ComfortZone™ heater, however, cannot cause a fire, because the quartz infrared heating elements are confined inside a fire-proof heat exchanger. The outside of the ComfortZone™ remains cool to the touch. Pets can sleep on it, when it is operating, without harm.

Unlike kerosene, gas or wood heating, which must have excessive ventilation (cold air coming into the house), for safe operation, the ComfortZone™ heater provides increased heating efficiency because it does not need room ventilation since there no combustion by-products.

Healthy Heat:
The ComfortZone™ heater is a healthier heat, because unlike other heating sources, it will not reduce humidity or oxygen content in the room. Typical heating sources reduce humidity which is drying to your sinuses, skin and increases static electricity which is detrimental to health. Also, with other heating sources, you may notice increased lethargy or sleepiness due to burning up of oxygen and destruction of healthy negative ions.

In addition, all ComfortZone™ Quartz infrared Portable Heaters are equipped with a 3 micron reusable filter system which will remove airborne particles as the air is pulled into the heating system. The heat exchanger in a ComfortZone™ heater destroys bacteria, virus, mold, mildew, and other air-borne pathogens before the heated air leaves the unit.

Construction:
The beautiful wood veneer cabinet on the wood models of the ComfortZone™ heaters feature high quality casters for easy mobility. On the back of the heater is a newly redesigned permanent washable air filter and cord storage retainer.

The infrared heat exchanger is constructed of galvanized steel and copper for a lifetime of reliable efficient operation.

Zoned Heating:
By using individual controlled units, the ComfortZone™ heater provides heat only where and when it is needed. Portable zoned heating produces economical heating for maximum energy savings by heating only the areas that you desire to heat.

The ComfortZone™ heater comes with accurate electronic thermostat controls and a delayed start function to provide accurate comfort settings and to minimize energy costs when you are not at home.

The ComfortZoneinfrared heater is less expensive to operate per square foot than other forms of electric or gas heat.

The ComfortZone™ heater uses standard 115 volt household current, and requires no special 220 volt wiring, chimney vent or expensive duct installation.

Ultimate Comfort:
The ComfortZone™ heater provides even heat distribution. It is thermostatically controlled, and circulates and recycles heated air from floor to ceiling so that the temperature differential is minor, thus eliminating the need for a ceiling fan.

As the ComfortZone™ heater operates, you will notice that its heating ability does not depend on a high-speed flow of air. Instead, the gentle air flow allows for better air mixing inside the unit for more effective heating action.

Operation:
Just plug the power cord into any 115 volt 15 amp receptacle. Push the red rocker switch to the "ON" position and then set the thermostat to the desired temperature. The first DC fan will turn on during the warm-up cycle. Once the infrared quartz heating elements have warmed up (about 2 minutes) the second fan will turn on, delivering additional soft heavenly heat for maximum efficiency and comfort.

The ComfortZone™ Quartz infrared Portable Heater does not burn, dry out or otherwise pollute the air with impurities. It actually purifies the air. ComfortZone™ quartz infrared heaters
protect the humidity levels and air quality which are important to health and breathing comfort.

Welcome New England

I would like to bring it to everyone's attention that there is now a way that we, the people of New England can successfully battle the increasing fuel costs that our country is undergoing. I would like to present to you the ComfortZone™ Portable Therapeutic Infrared Heating System. Yes, long name, but amazing results.

You will find that you will be receiving fliers and other infrared information in the mail in the form of ads relating to various products that supposedly all do the same thing, saving you up to 50% on heating costs. Well, thankfully, that is true, but the quality and features of these heating systems are going to be the deciding factor for you, the customer. So, in order to save you the time of pulling your hair out trying to figure out which heating system you should purchase, I am going to list a few key facts that you should consider before I start shouting, "Buy This Heater!"

First off, this is a new technology, well for the residential consumer it is. We have seen infrared heating systems in large office buildings and in government agencies, but for an infrared unit being used as a piece of furniture, or even a place for your cat to take a nap on, this is definitely new. As for for things you should consider, it is quite simple.

First, you should focus on price. Are you going to be able to afford buying an infrared heating system, or even two if your home or desired location calls for it? There's various models, various designs, and various features that come with the different manufacturers' units. Choose wisely.

Secondly, there's aesthetics. You are making a huge purchase on a device that is going to heat your home and most likely be setup in a large living area. Do you want to stare at an ugly box that looks like a pet cage, or do you want your friends and family to admire its amazing finish and high-tech design?

Thirdly, you must have features. There are various manufacturers that are producing these heating units for the public. Each company has different features they incorporate into their units, but a majority of the features are the same. For example, in regards to the ComfortZone™ that I have at my house, I personally enjoy it's ability to be within 1 degree accuracy with its digital thermostat. Some models of these infrared units just have a "hotter" or "cooler" option. Some just look like a box. Oh, I like the remote too ;)

Longevity. Well, this is an obvious factor you should consider. You will find various units that range from 6,000 to 20,000 hours for their bulb lives. If you chose to get a model with short-life bulbs, you will find yourself paying for new bulbs when you could have chosen a model with a longer life-expectancy.

There is the general heating ability that you must also think about. Are you going to buy a unit that shorts you on BTU output? Are you going to buy a super energy saving model that runs on such a low wattage, you find that it is running continuously? Or do you want to find a system that runs efficiently on top of your current heating setup, where you might find your original heating setup may not turn on at all? :)

Anyways, what I am trying to get at is you, as a consumer, should really take a look at the various infrared units that pop up here and there in fliers and in your local paper. I personally feel that the ComfortZone™ line of heating systems will be beyond more than satisfactory for your home heating needs considering all the factors. We are 3-4 weeks backordered as of right now considering their popularity. Take a look at all the features, prices, designs, and the overall ability to heat from these units; compare them, and I will be patiently waiting to process your order for you ;) I spend a majority of my free time comparing them myself, so I can offer you the best Green Technology product for your money. Take a look on the web, and see what you can find, we'll be here waiting :)

Feel free to create an account on our site. You can leave reviews for the products, and access information for your orders. We soon will be creating a Green Technology forum in regards to the ComfortZone™ technology for some tips and tricks for your heating unit and anything else you wanna talk about.

Thanks for your time, and for browsing our blog.

We hope to do business with you.

Sincerely,

Budd Grant
